Head-to-head poker strategy has one basic rule - play as aggressive as you can possibly get away with. In a multi-table tournament setting the head-to-head situation is even more drastic. The tournament has been going on for hours, and blind levels are usually at giant amounts. It's almost guaranteed that the blinds are the most important factor to consider at this point in a multi-table tournament, and if you don't force the action to win them your opponent surely will.
You have to be willing to mix it up with the other player that's left. You've already secured second-place money, so you shouldn't feel timid about the rest of the tournament. Don't be afraid to raise your opponent with big bets, there are only four cards in play, so the chances of your opponent having a good hand are slim.
You will need to raise out of position often because the big blind is the dealer in this situation. If your aggression is answered with a raise, you'll have to decide what to do based on what you're holding. Any hand with a queen or higher is a good hand head-to-head.
