One advantage that most players don't utilize is to observe a table before you play at it. If you stood over a table in a live casino and stared at the action for 15 minutes all the players would be complaining about you. But
online you can watch for as long as you want. You can watch quietly or even make comments if you want. Players will have no idea you're watching as they play if you don't want them to.
You watch them so you can learn how they play before you risk your money against them. Early in a session this information can cost you
bets to learn. If you watch the table for awhile, you'll know what to expect from each player when you eventually sit down at your seat. You'll know them but they won't know you, at least for a little while.
You can use this tactic to find players that are just starting out in the game or ones that play poorly. That way you're always in a game with weak players, increasing your chances of winning money.
