Cash Games,
Multi Table Tournaments

One great advantage to playing poker online is that it allows you to play multiple tables at the same time. If you are a strong player this can dramatically increase your profits. However if you’re not a strong player, or you have trouble keeping up with more than one table, it can also cause you to lose money at a much faster rate.
Before you decide to open up two or three tables at the same time make sure you can actually win cash at one table first. Like we said earlier, you lose even faster at multiple tables, so if you can’t win at one table you likely can’t win at many tables.
If your game is good enough to survive multiple tables, next you have to work on your concentration. By playing multiple tables you have less time to focus on other players and how they play. You also have less time to look over your own cards and the board, and make decisions on how to bet. There are limitations you put on yourself and on your game by playing at multiple tables that you must be able to adjust to and deal with to make sure your game can handle it.
One other tip on playing multiple tables – stick to Limit poker. Winning at a No Limit table takes more skill, patience and concentration than at a Limit table. You can save yourself a lot of time and perhaps a lot of money by sticking to Limit tables, which rely more on percentages, and by playing the cards rather than playing the players. You are already putting yourself at a slight disadvantage by playing multiple tables. Don’t add to it by burdening yourself with No Limit difficulties as well.
