Justin Bonomo's Top 10 Poker Players

I've never seen poker players as celebrities or superstars, so my entire top 10 list is of players I've grown to respect over the years, rather than people I idolize and haven't even met.
1.
Isaac Haxton - A great friend and a great poker player. I've learned more from him than you can imagine. He's the only poker player I know that makes me feel self conscious about my
poker game.
2.
Dave Williams - And not just because he's on
Team Bodog with me. He's one of the coolest dorks I know - never ashamed about playing Magic, living a baller lifestyle without letting it get in the way of him being himself.
3.
Antonio Esfandiari - Proof that life is in your hands. His magic tricks have taught him how to be masterful with women. He learned poker to make millions, and even has a life coach to master everything else in life that can possibly be mastered. He approaches everything in life with the goal of winning.
4.
Barry Greenstein - A truly stand up guy that I respect even more for his actions off the poker table.
5.
Daniel Negreanu - Outspoken and gregarious, while still being candid and truthful at all times.
6.
Mike Matusow - He's just fun! Great book too.
7.
Tom "Durrrr" Dwan - I've known him since we were both grinding low stakes online. Now he has a challenge open to literally everyone in the world except his best friend. You have to respect that.
8.
Steve "Thorladen" Weinsteen - Not as well known as some of the others. He's a world class bridge player, turn high stakes poker player, but more importantly, he's a great friend and has been a very helpful mentor to me over the years.
9.
Erik "E-Dog" Lindgren - Just an all around cool guy that's always having fun without it ever being at anyone's expense. If you ever get the chance, party with this guy.
10.
Eric Polgar - My step brother that I'm currently teaching how to play poker. He's not at high stakes quite yet, but he's winning at everything he plays. Give him a year and he'll be playing WPT's alongside me.
