How to Read, Use, and Make Good on Bodog's Tournament Schedule

Bodog's poker room offers a wide array of tournament action for any level of poker player. Finding the action that's right for you is important for your bankroll strategies, and the best online tournament players know what action they're going to play long before they buy in and start playing. Bodog Poker has created a schedule that's easy for anyone to follow. One can plan their MTT action around their own schedule, maximizing their playing time and bankroll so precious playing time isn't wasted.

The schedule at http://poker.bodog.com/tournaments/tournament-schedule.jsp displays all the MTT action for the following week. New tournaments begin every 20 minutes and most are played at the same time on the same day of the week. Bodog makes it easy to create a playing schedule that one can play every week, without having to spend valuable time finding the right action. One can plan out times for regular tournaments and satellite action without having to jump around within the schedule in the poker room. It's all laid out on the same page, cutting search times down to seconds.

If you play multiple tournaments at the same time, this schedule will make things a lot easier for you. It makes sense to start a controlled number of events at first and than wait awhile before playing in more. If the levels of the events you're playing in are staggered, you won't get into situations where you're in the late stages of more than one event at the same time. These late stages require more of your attention than the tight early stages, and having a schedule that keeps this issue in order will keep you out of hectic spots where you're forced to play too fast. Just use the schedule to figure out how much time is best before starting anther tournament.

At the top of the schedule there's a bar that gives you the option to separate the action based on the size of buy-in. Depending on the level of action you're playing, you can isolate the tournaments to ones that you can afford to play. That way you don't have to look through all the action to find the right events for you. Just choose the event you want play and the schedule will link to a page with only those tournament times.

If the event has a special element to it Bodog has displayed that info on the schedule. Some events have the blind levels displayed, or will be labeled as turbos or re-buys. Other events will even be categorized as (beginner) tournaments for players with smaller bankrolls. Daily freerolls are played at the same each day, and watch for different promotional tournaments that will change from week to week.

All times on the schedule are Eastern and Bodog management may alter the tournament schedule, structure, and/or payout or cancel any tournament without advance notice. And remember that this schedule doesn't include the generous layovers that Bodog has become famous for adding onto their events.
