Bodog Poker Tournaments 2009: Fall Schedule

In their 15th year of operation, Bodog is cranking up the poker tournament action for the fall season. As the weather cools down more players want to play from the comfort of their own homes, and Bodog is making sure that there's a poker tournament for any type of player with an itch to play a poker tournament. The anniversary celebrations continue with a full schedule of tournaments in many poker variants with a wide range of buy-in prices. There's action for any bankroll or playing level, and tons of satellite and freeroll tournaments to get that bankroll going if your luck has been running bad.

For players with a smaller bankroll Bodog will be offering lots of tournament options this fall. Besides the twice daily $500 freerolls, tournament players will be able to play a wide selection of regular tournaments by using their player points for the entry fees. The poker point tournaments will either reward winners with real cash or tournament cash that can be used to buy into other events. Many are satellite events that offer a seat into a big event like the WSOP or the WPT. Cheap qualifiers can be played for as little as $1.

For players with a healthier bankroll Bodog has a nice selection of guaranteed tournaments that are offered up every day. You can play in events from $500 to $100K guaranteed every week, and direct buy-ins usually range from $2 to $162. A wide selection of qualifiers will be available for almost every guaranteed event, and if you have enough success you can earn points for the weekly and monthly leaderboard prizes.

The Bodog Flight Club will still be awarding a lucky player a trip and seat into a major professional tournament main event this fall. The next big poker dream package is happening right now with “WitchfinderG” representing Team Bodog at the WPT Marrakech in Morocco from Oct 12 to 19. And at least one player (“greedness”) will try his luck at the ET Amsterdam Main Event in mid-November.

Also coming this fall is the Bodog Poker Open IV. The other three Bodog Poker Opens were a big success and the Bodog Poker Open IV is expected to be the best one yet. Last May “biffsworld” won $40,282 after taking first in the $470 + $30 Main Event of the Championship Series. Like the three that preceded it, the Bodog Poker Open IV will have a wide variety of action so all Bodog Players can play in an event that best suits their bankroll.
