15 Days of Poker Tournament Starts Today

Bodog's 15-year anniversary celebration is in full swing, and today they kick off their
15 Days of Poker promotion for all Bodog members. The
poker room is offering up a $15K freeroll to a group of lucky players who score the most points during the promotion or place well in the semi-final event. If you enjoyed the Bodog Mini Series you'll like the 15 Days of Poker even better. Bodog is offering a mixture of qualifying tournament action, with no limit, fixed, and pot limit, short-handed (6 max), turbos, and super turbo tournaments during the series. There's action for everyone, and these qualifiers only cost between $5+$1 and $15+$1 to play.
Action starts at 8:30pm tonight, and buy-in numbers are limited so don't wait until the last minute to register. Event #1 is the first $15+$1
No Limit holdem tournament and could reach the limit of entrants. Tomorrow's event is the first $15+$1 Turbo NL holdem tournament. Winners of these events, and any other qualifier, will win a seat to the $100,000 Guaranteed on Sunday at 4pm ET valued at T$162, as well as a seat in the semi-final. All prize pool money will be paid out with the regular Bodog
Poker tournament payout structure.
All players who finish in the top 30% of these qualifiers will get leaderboard points. If they earn enough leaderboard points during the 15 Days of Poker they will win their way into the semi-final tournament to be played on Thursday, October 8. The Top 15 finishers win a seat in the Bodog's 15th Anniversary Final Tournament - $15,000 Freeroll a week later on Thursday, October 15.
Today's event, and the other NL events, should attract the biggest fields of the promotion. More people play NL holdem than the other poker variants being offered over the next two weeks. Fields will likely be smaller in the fixed limit and pot limit events. Each one will require a different strategy, and players who specialize in a particular variant will hold a slight edge over players who normally don't play action like re-buy or turbo events. If the different action doesn't matter to you, you can get an automatic entry into the $15K Final by playing in every qualifier, regardless of how you do in them.
The final 15 players from the semi-final and the top leaderboard players will get to play for the $15K. The semi-final winner also gets an entry into a $100K event, while the other 14 get a seat to any $100K semi-final - valued at $17. The $15K will be awarded based on a poker room's regular tournament payout structure. The final will be a deep stack event with each player starting off with 5,000 in chips. That will give every player time to get some good hands, and everyone should have a fighting chance.
